NATO Public Diplomacy Workshop for Civil Society Representatives from Partner CountriesOn 13-14 of December 2011 Nato Bachiashvili the project Coordinator of ICGS participated in the Public Diplomacy Workshop for Civil Society Representatives from Partner Countries was held in NATO Headquarters (Belgium, Brussels). The NGO representatives from Georgia, Azerbaijan, Armenia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Ukraine, Kyrgyz Republic, Macedonia, Montenegro, Finland, and Serbia were participated in the workshop.

During the workshop meetings with Mr. Alexandros Papaioannou, the Policy Advisor, Policy Planning Unit, Office of the Secretary General, Dr. Stefanie Babst, Deputy Assistant Secretary General for Public Diplomacy, Col. Dr. Holger Bahle, Defence Policy and Planning Division, Daniele Riggio, Information Officer for Afghanistan and Central Asia, Public Diplomacy Division were arrange. The interesting issues of NATO’s Political Agenda in the run-up to the Chicago Summit, NATO’s mission in Afghanistan, “NATO Smart Defence” and NATO Communication tools were discussed at the meetings.
